KIM MARSHALL SERIES
The thirty five cumulative units in these two books cover basic computation skills, Roman numerals, English and metric measurements, graphing, fractions, and basic geometry, presented in language that students understand and use every day. Directions are simple enough to allow students to be self sufficient much of the time. Theory and generalizations are minimized; practice and application are stressed. Each of the one week units covers a specific skill or body of information. "Teaching" pages slowly introduce the material, build mastery of the skill, and prepare for the unit test.

CLASSIC CURRICULUM WORKBOOKS, RAY'S ARITHMETIC SERIES
These workbooks are designed for grades 1-4 to be used with the corresponding Ray's Arithmetic series. These workbooks are in a larger 8-1/2" x 11" format which allows the student to see the pages more clearly thus increasing the effectiveness of the Ray's Arithmetic series. The workbooks (with the exception of the first one) are keyed to the corresponding Ray's textbook. The student is referred to the appropriate section of the textbook. The following chart will be helpful in deciding which workbook to use. Each workbook (quarter) $8.99

WONDER NUMBER GAME
The Wonder Number Game addresses all of the seven strands of mathematics identified in the California Matehmatics Framework and applies in one form or another to over one hundred mathematical concepts. The introduction of odd and even numbers, prime and composite numbers, multiples, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, formulae for finding the areas of geometric forms and reading comprehension when used with mystery numbers are but a few. One of the advantages of this system is its adaptability to nearly all levels of learning. The same Wonder Number Game that is used to teach cardinal and ordinal numbers in kindergarten is used to teach statistics and probability to high school students. The basic game consisits of no less than 10 games. $34.95

CURRICULUM GUIDES FOR WONDER NUMBER GAME
Utilize these curriculum guides to expand on the educational value of the game. Utilizing both the game and curriculum guides you will greatly enhance the "mastering" level of your childs understanding of the number system and math.

Choose from the following guides at Grades 1-3, Grades 3-6, Grades 6-8. Each $14.95

RAY'S ARITHMETIC SERIES
This classic series skillfully directs the student through the three growth stages in arithmetic: (1) The Manipulative, (2) The Mental Image, and (3) The Abstract stages. Done primarily through word problems the student is taught arithmetic in an orderly fashion starting with simple rules and principles to more complex applications. Students using this series not only learn arithmetic but increase their reading comprehension skills and learn how to think. Once your student has completed this series they will not be afraid of "word problems" and they will have acquired the ability to "apply" math to real life situations.

PRIMARY ARITHMETIC
This book introduces the four operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with counting and other basic skills. It can be used to guide your teaching for about two years - through grades 1 -2. It goes farther than the average second grade course, but with Ray's mental system many second graders are able to do this work.
Grades 1-2 - $7.99

INTELLECTUAL ARITHMETIC
Extends work in the four operations to higher numbers and begins fractions, measurements, ratio and percentage.
Grades 3-4 - $9.99

PRACTICAL ARITHMETIC
Reviews basic arithmetic skills and carries them to higher levels. Also covers topics of measurement, factoring, decimals, percentage, ratio, proportion, powers, roots, and geometry. Mastery of this book takes the child to higher level than the normal 6th grader.
Grades 5-6 - $16.99

KEY TO RAY'S ARITHMETIC: PRIMARY, INTELLECTUAL AND PRACTICAL

Has challenging work for advanced students and basic work for slower students.
Grades 7-8 (as well as High School) - $20.99

KEY TO RAY'S HIGHER ARITHMETIC
Contains answers for problems in Ray's Higher Arithmetic. $12.99

PARENT-TEACHER GUIDE FOR RAY'S ARITHMETIC by Ruth Beechick
Guides your scheduling and planning through the books above. Show where you can adapt to the needs of slower or advanced students, making selective use of basic portions that are important for all students and higher-level portions that challenge the best students. Provides a test for each unit. describes games and activities which add variety to your teaching. $10.99
